Collaborative Efforts
THE CARAVAN AND MOTORHOME CLUB
For over a year I have been working with The Caravan and Motorhome Club to create full and informative access guides for their club sites. The intention behind these is to allow customers to see what facilities are on site before they go. This allows customers to make informed decisions. I have also been working with them to make suggestions on how to make their sites more accessible to their customers with various disabilities.
G LIVE
I worked in house at G Live for two years. During my time I headed up the access committee, working hard alongside colleagues to make the venue as accessible as possible to all customers and staff. Due to these efforts I helped steer G Live to being given an Award for Access by Guildford Borough Council.
THE ELECTRIC THEATRE
While working at The Electric Theatre, I worked on the accessibility of the building but also ran and organised training for staff to make them as aware and as sensitive as possible to any additional needs people may have. Accessibility is more than just physical requirements, but an open attitude from all staff.
